C-FAX listeners reported several emergency vehicles responding to the Hartland Landfill on Friday afternoon.
A Capital Regional District spokesperson says a contractor working at the landfill had an accident while moving dirt with a large machine. The individual was being taken to the hospital.
The CRD says there were no public closures at the Hartland Landfill because of the incident.
