VicPD is on the lookout for a stolen mobility scooter. An elderly Victoria woman had her scooter stolen from the parkade in the 900-block of Balmoral Road between the evening of Wednesday, August 9th and Fridaymorning.
She had 2 locks on her scooter. She faces serious mobility issues and discovered here scooter was missing this morning as she went to go to a doctor's appointment.
The Officer's who responded to her call not only began the search for her stolen scooter they also gave her a lift to her Doctor's appointment this morning.
The scooter is described as a red, three wheel Shoprider mobility scooter. It has a black seat, grey wheels, and a blue "Victoria Blue Bash" sticker on the console.
While officers are searching for a suspect in the theft, they are also looking to reunite this woman with her scooter.
