Organizers from Surf Rider Foundation are encouraging folks to start earlier with a small cleanup of your own neighbourhood
Sunday is Earth Day and this year there are renewed efforts to increase awareness on the use of disposable plastics such as straws and stir sticks. At Clover Point from 1-3pm there is a special Earth Day beach cleanup and social gathering/celebration where volunteers will comb the beach and clean it up.
