VicPd K9 and patrol officers arrest 3 suspects, now facing charges
VicPD K9 and Patrol officers took three people into custody during a vehicle stop Sunday night. The vehicle had been reported stolen Sunday morning. Just after 9pm a VicPD K9 officer spotted the stolen vehicle in the 2900-block of Douglas Street.
With the help of other Patrol officers, the vehicle was blocked from leaving, and all 3 occupants taken into custody.
A search turned up fentanyl, methamphetamine and an imitation firearm. Several charges are beign recommended -- including drug trafficking, possession of stolen property over $5000, and motor vehicle theft.
The suspects were released on a promise to appear with several conditions.
