Company says insulin cartridge holders in some NovoPen Echo and NovoPen 5 insulin pens could crack
Health Canada is issuing an updated a voluntary recall of insulin cartridge holders used in certain lots of its NovoPen Echo and NovoPen 5 insulin pens.
This, after the company detected that the holders may crack or break if exposed to certain chemicals, such as some cleaning agents.
Health Canada says users should contact Novo Nordisk Customer Service in order to receive a replacement cartridge holder or to ask questions.
