Police sent out a news release confirming EvansHayes was found dead and the investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.
West Shore RCMP confirm the body of a missing View Royal woman has been recovered from Thetis Lake.
Early Tuesday, police reported the beach had been closed and was related to search for 48 year old Debra Evans-Hayes who had been missing since last Wednesday.
Police sent out a news release confirming Evans-Hayes was found dead and the investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroner's Service.
The death is not considered suspicious.
