A boat house went up in flames on Prospect Lake Sunday night, just before midnight.
The Saanich Fire Department says they responded to a number of 911 calls about a fire. They say they found a boat house fully engulfed in flames. They were able to get it out quickly and kept it from spreading to a house on the property.
About $100-thousand dollars in damage was done fo the boat house and dock. The fire department says they don't know why the fire started and they're still investigating.
