Tom Harris, owner of Tom Harris Cellular and a number of auto dealerships on the island, died suddenly while in Roche Harbour on San Juan Island.
According to a statement from the Roche Harbor Sherrif's Dept. Harris fell off a friend’s boat near Roche Harbor and was found dead a few hours later.
A video posted to Instagram Wednesday showed Harris driving a speedboat off the Washington coast.
His cause of death is unknown.
