For the first time in 16 years BC's NDP are holding their annual convention as the governing party. NDP members have converged on Victoria for the event, which is being held at the Victoria Conference Centre.
Premier John Horgan will address the delegates. So will newly crowned federal NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh. BC Federation of Labour President Irene Lanzinger is also on the speaker schedule.
The theme of the event is "building a better BC", and will see the NDP discuss policy, and elect a new provincial executive who will be help steer the party heading into the next provincial election.
