British Columbia's Greens say they will not support returning the suspended clerk and sergeant at arms to the B.C. Legislature after the release of Speaker Darryl Plecas' report alleging flagrant spending misconduct.
In a morning news conference BC Green Leader Andrew Weaver calls allegations in the report "sickening," and criticized what he calls 'a culture of entitlement at the Legislature.'
Weaver applauded Plecas courage, saying the house speaker has not only been vindicated, he is also a hero for all British Columbians.
None of the allegations have been proven. Lenz and James released a statement saying while they're relieved to finally learn the claims against them, they are shocked the report was released before they were alloiwed to know what was in it.
