The province will stop accepting applications for the secondary suite incentive program at the end of the month.
The funds will be reallocated to existing and future BC Housing programs and services including BC Builds.
The federal government has committed to implementing a similar program.
The three-year pilot program provided forgivable loans to eligible homeowners who build a secondary suite or accessory dwelling unit on their property.
