Victoria Police say they have made two arrests in connection with a robbery involving a firearm in Saxe Point Park April 28th.
Police were called to Saxe Point Park around 8:30 p.m. where they discovered a victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to hospital, treated, and released.
The arrests come after multiple search warrants were executed. As a result of the investigation, a stolen vehicle was recovered, as well as imitation and real firearms. Investigators believe this incident, while concerning, to be an isolated one.
One adult man is currently in custody and a youth was released and a summons is being requested.
The investigation continues and additional search warrants are expected to be executed in the coming days.
