Saanich Police say two people are in hospital one seriously hurt after a single vehicle collision on Burnside Road West early Sunday morning.
Saanich Police say two people were sent to hospital-one seriously hurt after a single vehicle collision on the 600 block of Burnside Road West early Sunday morning.
Officers say a car carrying the two people ran off the road and collided with a tree at around 2:30 am.
“BC Ambulance and Saanich Fire Department were able to remove both the driver and passenger from the car. Both were transported to hospital,” says Constable Graham Walker in a press release.
The passenger, a 29 year-old woman from Saanich is in critical condition while a 29-year-old man was treated for light injuries and is no longer in hospital.
Investigators are trying to find out what happened and if speed and or impairment caused the collision.
