A local teen has received a hefty fine after driving his vehicle through a metal barrier and down an embankment late Saturday night.
Victoria police were called to Clover Point to find the car abandoned and 2 people running from the scene.
The 17 year old driver eventually returned and was was fined for driving without a licence, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and driving without due care and attention. The fines total over $1,000.
VICPd tweeted out a picture of the car perched precariously on the steep slope with the hashtag #notaparkingspot.
The teen's passenger was located and had not suffered injuries.
