A suspect has been arrested after a robbery in Esquimalt earlier this week.
On Monday, shortly before noon, VicPD officers responded to Esquimalt High School for the report of a robbery with a knife.
As a precaution, the high school was placed in “lock down.”
Officers searched the school and confirmed that the suspect was not on the school grounds.
Investigators have been working all week to identify and locate the suspect.
Police say they took a 16-year-old into custody Thursday morning for one count of robbery.
