If your heading to Tofino this long weekend -- be advised a group of brazen wolves have been spotted in Pacific Rim National Park.
In fact the park was closed Thursday and much of today -- but has since re-opened for the long weekend.
Park biologists say a group of wolves in the area are unafraid of human contact, and one dominant male in particular has been coming troublingly close to hikers.
Several close encounters were reported and a group of hikers say they were followed by a group of wolves Thursday.
A wolf advisory has been in effect in the Long Beach section of the park since November of last year due to close encounters.
The advisory means it's mandatory for dog owners to keep pets on a leash, dogs attract wolves.
