Victoria Police are looking for witnesses and a suspect in a second bus stop sexual assault.
Officers say it is too early to confirm that this incident is related to another assault that happened at a bus stop last Wednesday.
This latest incident occurred Saturday when a woman reported to police she had been assaulted last Thursday night around at 10:00 p.m. while at a bus stop in the 1700-block of Douglas Street.
She said an unknown man approached her at a bus stop and sat next to her. The two began a conversation and then just prior to the bus arriving, the man sexually assaulted her. She did not require any medical attention.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, between twenty-five and thirty-five years of age standing approximately 6 feet tall. The suspect was wearing dark hoody pulled over his head exposing only his face. He has a big nose with a dark mole or mark on the right side of his face and had no facial hair.
A similar incident happened Wednesday morning in the 1400-block of Douglas when a young woman was approached by a man who sat next to her. When she moved away he sexually assaulted her. She reported the attack to a school counsellor and then to a parent. She was not physically injured.
