Winter weather causing difficulties across the CRD for the last 24 hours and we may not be out of the woods yet.
The Winter wallop forced Westshore RCMP to warn that only vehicles with snow tires should attempt going up Bear Mountain Friday night. Conditions slippery all over the region; multiple collisions; Buses were late or canceled and are running late due to road & weather conditions as well -- James Bogusz with YYJ tells CFAX multiple flights canceled Friday and early Saturday, "very difficult for Island travellers not just because of the weather here but when there are problems in Vancouver and Seattle it has a ripple effect."
Meanwhile, ICBC's Dial-a-Claim line rang off the hook By 3 PM Friday, they had received more than 3-thousand calls from across the province.
They advise drivers to adjust to changing road conditions.
