Its chilly out there and with snow in the forecast, the Greater Victoria Extreme Weather Protocol has been activated.
The protocol indicates there are 395 emergency shelter spaces available.
Some of the shelters include Cool Aid's Rock Bay Landing, First Metropolitan United Church, run by Our Place Society and Beacon Community Services, Out of the Rain Youth Shelter.
The Extreme Weather Protocol is a regional community program developed to address the shelter needs of people experiencing homelessness during periods of harsh wind, rain, snow, and/or subzero temperatures.
