With the ongoing negotiations between the Union representing drivers of HandyDART and BC Transit at an apparent stand still, Paul McDonald General Manager for the Handy Dart System called to let passengers know that Handy Dart Services will in fact be operating come monday. It was reported that buses serving people with disabilities in Greater Victoria would shutdown Monday by a full-scale strike. Paul McDonald wanted to reassure handy dart riders that their services will continue unaffected for the time being. "We have had a reprieve from a procedural change, and service will be normal for at least the first part of the week."
