Victoria has earned a top-five ranking in the prestigious 2017 Agents' Choice Awards.
According to Paul Nursey, president and CEO of Tourism Victoria says our area continues to punch above our weight when it comes to attracting tourists. "Once again it reinforces the idea that we're a global destination. We're in there with the really big one's last year Conde Naste ranked us the number seventh favourite international city in the world that was as reader poll this one is done by travel agents so once again we're just punching above our weight."
In the category of the top Canadian cities, Victoria ranked behind only Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City.
This year's Agents' Choice awards listed Butchart Gardens is listed among the top-10 attractions, alongside such international bucket-list experiences as the Louvre in Paris, St. Mark's Square in Venice and the French Quarter in New Orleans.
