Hoping to open a small business in Victoria?
You might be happy to know that the city of Victoria was ranked as fourth in the province for having the least amount of red tape compared to other B.C. municipalities.
The Canadian Federation of Independant Business went undercover in 20 municipalities and judged information accessibility, quality of information, and regulatory framework.
While Victoria had higher scores for accessibility and regulatory framework, quality of information was scored just above 50 per cent.
Kelowna was the municipality ranked the highest, whereas Port Moody was ranked the lowest.
