Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, the NDP's Carole James, and Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps will be speaking at a rally in Centennial Square Saturday protesting Donald Trump's inauguration.
Organizer Sue Andrews says Trump's election will affect us all, bringing the threat of planetary environmental and nuclear catastrophe closer than it has ever been.
They expect as many as 1-thousand people to attend the 1:00 rally and 2:00 march through the downtown.
Victoria is one of more than 600 cities around the world planning protests in support of the Women's march in Washington DC where more than 200-thousand anti-Trump demonstrators are predicted to descend on the US capital.
