VicPD's Major Crime Unit is investigating a pellet gun shooting at Victoria’s City Hall Wednesd afternoon.
Cnst Cam McIntyre says officers were called shortly after 2:45 PM for a report that an employee had returned to their desk to find damage to the office window.
The damage was consistent with a projectile being fired at the window from somewhere outside:
"Luckily no one was phycically injured in this incident. However, evidence at the scene does indicate that the projectile was fired from a compressed air style of gun, something similar to a pellet gun."
VicPd are asking for witnesses to come forward by calling the non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654 ext 1 or report ananymously @VicCrimeStop or call 1-222-TIPS (8477)
