Christmas tree recycling events have begun in Oak Bay. People can drop off trees at Windsor park on Currie Rd this weekend. The Castaway Wanderers rugby club is taking care of the disposal for a donation fee.
At Firemen's park Oak Bay firefighters are hosting their charity disposal event this weekend as well. If you'd rather dispose of your tree next weekend, the BC Lions Club is running a charity chipping event in Victoria; Sooke and Duncan.
