BC's largest emergency call centre has released its list of nuisance calls for 2017 and while the collection may sound amusing, those answering the phone say it also highlights the dangers caused by such thoughtlessness.
Emergency Communications for B.C., or E-Comm, has released its annual list of annoying calls. However, its not to be lost on the seriousness of the problem.
Jody Robertson, Executive Director of Corporate Communications for E-Comm brings us some of the highlights... beginning with number 10.
"Number 10 is calling to check the time following the fall time change, and that is something we will experience in the spring and the fall as well as just generally calling to ask the date and the time."
But the top spot went to a woman who called 9-1-1 because a salon would not change the colour of her nail polish.
