Unfortunately thieves don't take a break during inclement weather.
CFAX-1070 has received reports from residents in Maplewood neighborhood in Saanich, of two men casing, and possibly stealing valuables from vehicles overnight Sunday.
Saanich Police Constable Julie Fast says 13 vehicles were entered--most weren't locked, and loose change was taken in most cases.
One report came from the area around Tattersall and Salsbury.
Remember to always either remove valuables from your vehicle, or hide them from plain sight.
