The top junior players from around the world will take to the ice for one of the most anticipated hockey tournaments of the year.
The World Juniors Championship, jointly hosted by Vancouver and Victoria, begins on Wednesday.
Team Canada is the defending champion, and they will be playing in Group A in Vancouver.
Victoria hosts Group B, and the Director of the World Junior Championship, Riley Wiwchar, says there will be some great games in BC's capital.
"The thing with this tournament is that every single game matters. So fans can expect some great hockey, and teams will be playing their hearts out, because one loss can end up costing them quite a bit in this tournament."
He adds that people who don't have tickets still have an option to watch the games with crowds of cheering hockey fans.
The Victoria Curling Club has been transformed into "The Cabin". They have 3 big screen TV's playing the games, as well as food, drinks, and music and entertainment.
Wiwchar adds that it's also a great venue for people who are going to the games, as they can stop in and watch the games that are being held in Vancouver.
