Springing forward, and falling back could soon be a thing of the past.
The Provincial Government is inviting British Columbians to share their views on how time should be observed.
Some western states to the south of us are moving towards a permanent daylight saving time, and the province wants to know if we should follow suit.
A 5 minute online survey is available until July 19. The survey website, which is linked here, has background information of the history of time observance in BC, and the impact of various options, such as sunrise and sunset timings.
Along with the online survey, organizations and individuals can provide written submissions about how observing time may affect many key industries in BC, such as transportation and agriculture.
