A major water main break on the Trans-Canada Highway will be back to normal by midnight Friday. Road Crews are doing the final repairs right now. Ted Robbins GM for the CRD Integrated Water Services says his crews have been working for 24 hours straight to get the job done. Both Lanes of the Trans Canada should be open within an hour -- A steel pipe underneath the TCH inbound near the Colwood off-ramp cracked around midnight, causing water to flow out onto the highway for over ten hours before crews could get the flow under control.
