Victoria police respond strongly to a reported breakandenter on 1000 block of Fort Street.
Victoria Police were called to a reported break-and-enter in the 1000 block of Fort Street on Saturday night.
Police spokesperson Matthew Rutherford said the incident unfolded out of an abundance of caution and the emergency response team was called to the scene.
One witness tells C-FAX News that it happened at the Masala Bites Restaurant. Police have yet to confirm.
Police say the investigation is on-going and in the early stages.
An update is expected in a few days according to Vic-PD.
