Saanich Police are trying to reunite a stolen dog and its owner.
"Red" a four-month-old Redbone CoonHound, believed to be a rare breed, was stolen from a parked car on Friday.
Police say his owner was away from the vehicle for a short time, just before noon Friday, at Tillicum Mall.
When he returned to the car the dog was gone.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the theft to please contact Saanich Police.
