Victora's Downtown cycling lanes are nearing completion.
The City of Victoria is working through the weekend and into next week to complete traffic signal and line painting work on Pandora Avenue between Cook Street and Wharf Street as the protected bike lane project nears completion.
There will be lane closures and traffic delays along the corridor as the new markings are installed.
Victoria’s first protected bike lanes along Pandora Avenue from Cook Street to Wharf Street are scheduled to open early next month.
The project includes a two-way, physically protected bike lane with new traffic signals for bikes with a combination of on-street parking spaces, bollards, and paint used to separate the bike lanes from vehicle traffic.
