The City of Victoria is in the final stages of ridding the Gorge Waterway of derelict boats.
Notices have been served to owners of remaining vessels, that if their boats aren't removed, they will face court action.
The latest move is the final stage of a three-phase approach to remove the two dozen or so illegally-moored vessels anchored in the Gorge for a number of years.
Chris Coates, Victoria City Clerk says, "the respondents have 21 days to respond to the court with whether or not they are going to contest the injunction or how that plays out. So after that we will take inventory of where we are at."
Coates says at this stage he doesn't think court action will be needed.
