Victoria's Bill Okell has won the Sports Car of America's, majors tour race this afternoon at Buttonwillows raceway park north of Los Angeles California. "To do it on a weekend we needed two good results to qualify to go to Indianapolis motor speedway, not only great from a personal finishes standpoint, first and third but to qualify for the national championships that was very rewarding."
Okell finished third Saturday and first on Sunday. This is Bill's second career win on the tour. The finishes qualify Okell for the s-c-ca's national championship in, Indianapolis in late September.
