Murray and Lynda Farmer are among 15 exceptional British Columbians being invested on June 28th
As the Province's highest honour celebrates its 30th year, 15 new inductees will be invested in the Order of BC next month.
Among the recipients are a North Saanich couple, Murray and Lynda Farmer.
They are being recognized for their support for Camosun College and the University of Victoria, and enhancing B.C. as a place to study, live, work and visit through their volunteerism, and community leadership.
209 British Columbians were nominated this year. Since its inception 30 years ago 447 exceptional British Columbians have been inducted into the Order of B.C.
The ceremony will be held for recipients and invited guests at Government House on June 28th.
