Ever find yourself trying to do some home repairs but missing the right tool for the project?
Thanks to the Victoria Tool Library you don't have to buy new tools, for a membership fee you can join the tool library. The library opened (Saturday) today at Devonshire Road in Esquimalt.
Board member, Stephanie Ferguson says members can rent a tool for up to seven days and seven tools at a time.
“The purpose of a tool library is just to give people affordable access to tools, to get them into hands of people who need them so they can try out new projects.”
Membership costs are donation-based and will give you access for the full year.
All of the tools are donated by members of the community and the library has created a wish-list of the items it still needs.
