If ratified extra trips would result on some routes on Friday and Saturday nights, and some holidays
A plan to bring late night bus service to some Victoria bus routes has been approved in principle.
Transit Commission Chair Susan Brice says because a couple members couldn't attend the meeting at last minute -- ratification will be sought by email.
But she says the direction is to move ahead with late night service. If approved as expected, night service would be extended by 1 hour on Fridays, Saturdays and select holidays with the last scheduled trips leaving downtown Victoria between 2:30 and 3:00 AM.
The routes being considered for the late night service are the #4, 6, 14, 15, 27/28, and the 50.
