Most shoppers say it was worthwhile getting out for the deals
It wasn't the chaos many expected during Boxing Day sales at local malls. Most people decided to stay home and take advantage of family time.Those who did opt for picking out bargains headed out early to catch some of the holiday sales.
CTV Vancouver Island took its cameras to Mayfair Mall where Tina explained shopping isn't that important to her."We only come out on Boxing Day to get one ornament each for each kid and that's pretty much it. I am a huge believer on living minimally."Many others felt it was worth their while heading out and facing the crowds for deals they said they couldn't find any other time of the year.
