BC Hydro crews have been working through the night after nearly 31,000 customers were without power in Greater Victoria.
More than 12,000 customers were still without power in British Columbia early Sunday morning following a windstorm.
While most saw their power restored last night, Sooke still has about 2,500 customers without power, and there is a further 1,000 in Cadboro Bay still in the dark.
There are nearly 60 separate outages that BC Hydro are still working on.
Extra crews have been brought in from up island to help, with more downed lines.
BC Hydro says if you see a power line that is down, treat it like it is live, stay far back, and call 911 if emergency crews aren't already there.
