A fire in Langford early Friday morning has left six people homeless.
Langford fire crews were called to a home in a cul-de-sac on High Forest Place just before 4:30 a.m.
They arrived to find flames shooting from the home's garage and front windows on the second floor, while smoke flooded the surrounding neighbourhood.
West Shore RCMP confirmed six people living in the house had escaped without injury prior to fire crews arriving.
While the garage and second floor were heavily damaged by fire, officials said there was limited fire damage in the rest of the structure because doors were closed.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Fire officials say the six people displaced have found other places to live for the time being.
