Sales are up slightly, but the number of homes listed in Greater Victoria has dropped drastically.
The BC Real Estate Association report shows just under 13-hundred homes were listed last month -- that's a 44-per cent drop from October of 2015, the largest provincial decrease listed in the report.
The average sale price of $615-thousand dollars represents a 13-per cent increase over the previous October.
While residential sales in Victoria were up slightly, there was a big drop in Greater Vancouver. When compared to the previous October, home sales increased by 3-per cent locally while decreasing by 38-per cent in Vancouver.
