A Langford Mother is in mourning after losing her son in a mysterious manner Friday.
Debbie Thiele-Tibeault says her son Christopher Tousignant, went to buy cigarettes Thursday night and that was the last time she saw him alive.
Tousignant’s body was found by a jogger; so far investigators have not revealed how the 33 year old man died but they do not believe his death is suspicious. Tibeault tells CTV Vancouver Island she can’t understand why he’s gone.
“They don’t know, they seen some change on the ground and they think that Chris leaned down to pick up his change and that he went head first,” she said.
According to the Langford mom she’s been led to believe the 33-year-old may have fallen from the path. Thiele-Tibeault wonders if better signage around the path could have prevented the death.
