Residents of a condo building on Tillicum Road had to wait out in the cold after the sprinkler system malfunctioned.
A sprinkler system malfunction forced residents of a condo building on Tillicum Road out in the cold Tuesday night.
Esquimalt Fire responded to an alarm in a parking garage of a building just after 9pm.
The sprinkler pipe had frozen -- triggering the alarm.
An all clear was eventually given and residents were allowed to return to their units.
