Kenneth Fenton, the man who pleaded guilty in the death of a West Shore Mountie, will face sentencing June 29th in Colwood court.
This comes more than a year after the April 5, 2016 crash that killed Const. Sarah Beckett.
28-year-old Fenton pleaded guilty to impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death last month. Three other charges against Fenton, including flight from police causing death, were stayed.
Fenton faces a maximum sentence of life in prison for impaired driving causing death. Dangerous driving causing death carries a maximum penalty of 14 years.
