Saanich Police report a cougar cub sighting in South Valley Park in the Strawberry Vale neighborhood on the weekend.
An adult cougar was also believed to have been heard nearby around 5:15 Sunday afternoon.
BC Conservation Officers say no other sightings have been reported.
Residents of the area are advised to be mindful of their surroundings, families, and pets.
