The Capital Regional District (CRD) has awarded a $29-million contract to Victoria-based Don Mann Excavating Ltd. to construct the Residual Solids Conveyance Line (RSCL).
As part of the Wastewater Treatment Project, the Residual Solids Conveyance Line will convey residual solids from the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Residuals Treatment Facility at Hartland Landfill where they will be treated and processed into Class A biosolids.
Construction of the RSCL will begin this winter and will take approximately 18 months to complete.
