"It could be a cabinet in there for just a short period of time," says Vancouver Island University's Allan Warnke. The legislature will reconvene next Thursday, where it's possible the Liberals will fall in their first vote.
However, a cabinet is needed regardless of how short-lived it might be. The swearing-in ceremony will begin at 1pm at Government House here in Victoria.
