The South Island Prosperity Project is welcoming a global software development company to the south island.
Brazil’s Daitan Group has established their Canadian office here on the South Island and will move 10 of their Brazilian team members here.
Daitan plans to grow to over 100 employees in the region over the next few years.
Among the reasons they says they chose to locate in Greater Victoria are its location in the Pacific Northwest, the strength of its
tech sector and universities, and proximity to many of their U.S. clients.
The company has been named "a Great Place to Work" for 7 consecutive years.
