Saanich police say foul play not suspected in death
There's been a tragic end to the search for a missing Colwood man.
Saanich police confirm the body of a man found last night at Rithet's bog is that of 34-year-old Ash Redford.
Redford was reported missing after failing to pick up his 2 daughters on Saturday morning, something his family says was not normal behaviour.
His 1990 Honda Civic was found parked on Chatterton Way, sparking a family friend to go looking around the bog. The discovery was made at 10:30 Sunday night.
Police say foul play is not suspected. The BC Coroner's services is investigating.
